QUT Staff Printers

Description:

Staff and students may experience an issue with connecting to a QUT staff printer. 

Users experiencing this issue will receive a message similar to:
"Do you trust this printer?  Windows needs to download and install a software driver"

Technical staff are investigating and hope to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Workaround:
As a workaround, affected users can remove the connection to the printer on their computer and re-add the printer. If issues persist or you would like assistance with this please call the IT Helpdesk on 3138 4000 during our opening hours.

QPS staff advise that about half of the QUT print servers have had this issue resolved at this time. Work is continuing

Work is continuing to resolve this issue. All printers with updated drivers available have been patched. Still waiting for vendor to supply drivers for remaining machines. No ETA at this time
