All QUT-Access passwords expire every 60 days for security purposes. If you are a student who has forgetten your password, you can obtain a new password by one of the following methods:

  • by answering three or more of the Challenge Response questions at the QUT-Access website. In order to do this, your Challenge Response answers need to be setup - login to QUT-Access and click on the Set/Change Challenge Response Answers link
  • by presenting your student ID card at an IT Helpdesk or QUT Printing Services counter on campus
  • by calling the IT Helpdesk on 3138 4000
  • by e-mailing the IT Helpdesk at ithelpdesk@qut.edu.au (note: this option is only for students who are currently outside of the Brisbane metropolitan local call area)
