All QUT-Access passwords expire every 60 days for security purposes. If you are a staff member who has forgetten your password, you can obtain a new password by one of the following methods:

  • by answering three or more of the Challenge Response questions at the QUT-Access website. In order to do this, your Challenge Response answers need to be setup - login to QUT-Access and click on the Set/Change Challenge Response Answers link
  • by presenting your staff ID card at an IT Helpdesk or QUT Printing Services counter on campus
  • by calling the IT Helpdesk on 3138 4000. Please note that this option is only available to those staff who have previously setup their Challenge Response answers at the QUT-Access website, as this is the only method of verifying a staff member's identity that is available to our helpdesk consultants
